Shields
I've always had a shield that was:
16 armour
-5 damage(chance 20%)
It's the shield of a lion and a lot of other shields
Is their anything else that's better for just doing anything like exploring?

For warrior, just about any insctiption would be better.
It's +30hp right?
-5/20% is a pretty bad inscription, replace it with anything random and it'll be better. I run anticripple or blind in pvp, -2 stance would be far better in pve unless you're a total noob.

Yeah -5/20% inscription really does suck, and its annoying when people consider it as a perfect mod for a shield. You mentioned exploring so i would recommend some 10 VS (insert damage type here). A good example would be ''Sleep now in the fire'', which gives you +10 AL vs fire damage.

If you only have one shield, then get either -2 (stance). However having a full set of +10 armor shields, and perhaps -20% cripple and blind shields is far preferable.

-5/20% is more expensive and rare than -2 conditional and is ironically worse. All it does is reduce damage by a portion every 5 hits which I guess would make it -1 damage reduction. so, -2 wins.
In my opinion you should focus less on damage reduction unless you're determined to stop it altogether. Fire damage is a good one since end game enemies usually have it, and blind reduction + rune of clarity can also help, more so with a Recovery spirit.

16AL
+45health, -2damage (while in a stance)
Thats what I run. Since I'm always in a stance, I prefer the conditional +45 health to the standard unconditional +30.

Well it all depends on a curent situation.. You got a BS ele blinding you? -20% Blind. You got a crip ranger annoying you? -20% crip.
In general I'd say you need a +30/-2 Stance, +30/20% blind, +30/20% Crip., along with runes that reduce blind and crip on your armor(Clarity, isn't that the one?)
And then you need +30/+10 vs Slashing, Piercing, Blund, Fire, Cold, Lightning, Earth.
So 10 shileds in total depending on the situation.
imo

- Rune of Clarity reduces Blind and Weakness
- Rune of Restoration reduces Bleeding and Crippled
- according to the unofficial Wiki, all condition-reducing runes reduce Bleeding (bug)

Thanks for that, I was a little bored to look on wiki yesterday. I wasn't aware of the bleeding bug either.. Weird..
On the subject, I use both runes on my War and it suits me the best. You still have 625 health with a shield and 595 with a hammer.

You don't help. >_>
Also..
It really depends on what sort of mob you're fighting.
Melee, I'd take both ripostes; and some additional blocking which is stance as riposte does't use stance, it uses the Skill funtionality.

No... Just, no.
Unless you're farming, an IAS (and maybe an IMS to cancel IAS) is the only stance you will need.
Block stances are useless and you have to spend points in tactics (Ripostes aren't better). Let the monks prot you.

Don't take advice from these people, please.
I used to run bonettis and watch yourself (watch yourself is actually good, by the way), but now I just go dragon slash/brawling headbutt/save yourselves and it works so much smoother, although often I'll hang back and spear for SY rather than charging straight into a group of lvl 28 chromatic drakes.

He/She can still read it. Also, it's most likely just a sell violation or something and as such a temp ban.

Yes. Seeing as he's not banned now it must have been something temporary.

I wouldn't use "Survival of the Fittest". You have 100 AL vs Physical, 5 extra won't do anything.
I would take a "Sleep Now in the Fire" (+10 AL vs Fire) or a "Run for your Life!" (-2/stance) for a PvE Warrior shield. (Of course, having some shields with all +10 AL vs XXX inscription would be an optimal equipement)

Like Marty, I prefer +45 (while fighting) to +30 (while in town).
